Honey Garlic Crispy Baked Chicken Wings {AIP/Paleo}

Nothing speaks finger food to me more than Chicken Wings, so when I think about a dish to take to a Pot Luck then its always top of my agenda.  In years gone by give me Buffalo Wings and a beer and I was a happy camper, but the Cayenne and the hot sauce which are nightshades aren’t AIP compliant so I went for my next favorite flavors ASIAN.

  1. This were AWESOME! My non-AIP family loved them too and are keeping this as a favourite recipe for them :) I didn’t use the pepper so I substituted some dried thyme. I also cooked them for an extra 10min because we like really crispy wings.

    This was also perfect because I could through them in the oven to start cooking while I made up the sauce and the rest of the meal, rather than marinating or what have you. Perfect for coming home late and getting dinner on.

    We had it with an AIP caesar (https://salixisme.wordpress.com/2014/05/21/paleo-caesar-salad-with-an-aip-variation/ and half the garlic), and it felt like such a treat to have a pub-like meal! Thanks SO much for this!

  2. Oh my gosh. These were incredible! And what a hit with my family. My almost two year old usually isn’t a fan of chicken and she ate two whole wings! My husband took a picture and sent it to his fantasy baseball group. And I posted about it in my neighborhood cooking group. I’ve been so bored with cooking lately and this really helped! I stuck close to the recipe. Just added a little turmeric powder to the sauce. I also didn’t strain the garlic and ginger, just left most in the bowl while brushing it on. Anything for less dishes, am I right? Anyhow. This was awesome and will definitely become a staple in my house. Can’t wait to try more recipes. Thank you!
